SPRING 2023 REGISTRATION

Welcome back for another great season of baseball with Smyrna Baseball League in Smyrna, TN. We are very excited for this upcoming season and wanted to share some of the changes you can expect see.

Important Spring Dates

13/14 and 15/18 Registration

Due to the TSSAA rule prohibiting school athletes from engaging in multiple active rosters at once, SBL will not begin the 13/14 and 15/18 divisions until the conclusion of the school baseball season (typically early May).

In an attempt to better manage our 13/14 and 15/18 divisions for the spring season, registration will be slightly different. All registering players will be placed on a waiting list without having to pay the registration fee until our team counts are set for the season.

Age Category Update

A small reminder that SBL has moved to an August 1st cutoff for fall seasons and March 1st for spring seasons. Please remember this when registering for the Spring season.

All requests to play in a higher division must be emailed to [email protected]. We will be happy to walk you through the process.

Player Refund Policy

We have updated our player refund policy (Player Refund Policy) to to reflect COVID or other emergency related scenarios.

Uniform Sizing Chart

In an attempt to make online registration easier for parents that may not know what size uniform their player needs, we have provided a uniform sizing chart for the spring season. Uniform Size Chart

Another great season of Smyrna Baseball is in the works! The online registration will only accept payment via credit/debit card. If you need to make payment via check or cash, you must register with us during one of our in-person registrations.

***PLEASE NOTE: When you register online, and do not receive a confirmation email, we did NOT receive the information and your child will not be placed on a team. If you are uncertain whether your registration was processed, please contact our registration administrators, [email protected]. The credit card system does not process the information to us unless payment is noted as received.

Should you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Your registration fee includes a hat, jersey, solid pants, and a belt. We will also now be providing your player's last name on their uniform. End of season trophies will be provided for the top teams in each age division (Number of teams with trophies to be determined by the total number of teams in that division.) The fee also now incorporates the charges associated with completing background checks on all of the coaches in the league on an annual basis, as well as insuring all of the coaches and players while they are on the fields.

ALL COACHES WILL BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND A MANDATORY COACHES MEETING. The time and location of the meeting will be announced.
